What is ReverbNation v2?

Welcome to the new era of ReverbNation! As the music industry evolves, the tools independent artists need to succeed must evolve with it. ReverbNation v2 is a massive update designed to shift the platform's focus toward comprehensive career management.

It is no longer just about having a profile page on ReverbNation; it’s about using ReverbNation as the control center for every other platform you use. In the coming months, we will be bringing new features to all core products to ensure musicians can do everything they need to manage their careers from one place.

Here is a breakdown of what to expect in v2.

Features Available Now

We have updated and launched several core tools in the v2 dashboard:

• Distribution: v2 heavily simplifies the process of getting your tracks onto Spotify, Apple Music, TikTok, and every other major streaming platform.
• Opportunities: ReverbNation connects artists with festivals, labels, and licensing deals. In v2, the system prioritizes "EPK-ready" artists. Please note: Your Electronic Press Kit (EPK) needs to be 100% complete to be considered for placements. (Currently, the EPK feature is used exclusively for submitting to Opportunities).
• Promote It: We have completely rebuilt Promote It under the hood. The new system ensures your promotional campaigns reach the widest possible audience and generate the best possible interactions with fans.
• Music Library (My Content): Just as with v1, you can effortlessly upload your songs and distribute them directly from your secure library.

Features Coming Soon

We are actively polishing v2 and will be rolling out additional features shortly:

• Public Press Kits & Fan Reach: While the EPK is currently restricted to Opportunities, fully Public Press Kits and our email marketing tool, Fan Reach, will be available soon.
• Shareable Collaboration: In the near future, you will be able to make the music in your Music Library seamlessly shareable. This will allow you to collaborate directly with bandmates, mixing engineers, marketing agencies, and anyone else involved in your creative process.

Transitioning from v1 to v2

If you are not ready to switch yet, don't worry. While we put the final polish on v2, v1 will still be available. You can continue to use your standard dashboard without interruption.
